Trained at Tokyo Geidai in computer music under a generation of composers connected to GRM and IRCAM. Works exclusively with amplified prepared instruments — bowed cymbals, contact-miked piano, custom-built resonators she designs and builds in a small workshop in Setagaya.

The 2023 LP Mizu / Chōrō on Room40 was named one of The Wire's albums of the year and earned a long, unfashionably reverent feature in The Japan Times. Has performed at Unsound, MUTEK Montréal, and Berlin Atonal — always with a custom 8-channel diffusion system she travels with as carry-on.

Roster handles all European and North American booking. Performs fewer than fifteen times annually, refuses streaming-platform editorials, and considers each live performance a one-time work — the recordings are documentation, not the piece.
